Fluke 1587 Insulation tester, the manual and automated range of digital insulation multimeters detect insulation resistance, current , voltage , resistance and temperature. It performs diode test for testing line insulation on various motors, generators, cables and switch gear. It also provides an accurate reading for measurement of linear and non linear loads when the current or voltage has distorted or undistorted form of waves. The voltages of insulation test can range up to 50,100, 250,1000V and from 0.01 megohms to 2 gigohms. These low-pass filter blocks measure the AC voltage and AC frequency reliably on VFDs and inverters.

The features of fluke 1587 are as follows:

  • Insulation test voltages of 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000V and insulation measurement range of 0.01 megohms to 2 gigohms

  • Low-pass filter blocks unwanted voltages when measuring AC voltage and AC frequency to provide accurate measurements on inverters and variable-frequency motor drives

  • Live circuit detection prevents insulation test if voltage of more than 30 volts is detected
